Implementing Decision No. 06/QD-TTg dated January 6, 2022 of the Prime Minister Approving the Scheme on developing the application of data on population, identification, electronic authentication data for national digital transformation in the 2022-2025 period, with a vision toward 2030 (hereinafter referred to as Project 06 for short), the VSS has implemented online public services on the National Public Service Portal and the Sector. Currently, these public services have achieved positive results, bringing numerous conveniences and advantages to participants and beneficiaries of social, health and unemployment insurance policies.

On December 15, at the headquarters of Thu Duc Social Security Office (Ho Chi Minh City), Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Security (VSS) Tran Dinh Lieu and the VSS delegation came to present social insurance books and health insurance cards to the poor and disadvantaged in the city. Attending the ceremony, there were representatives of a number of units under the VSS, Ho Chi Minh Social Security Office, Thu Duc Social Security Office, representatives of local authorities and sponsors. The ceremony is within the framework of the program to give social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances launched by the VSS on November 23, 2022.
