In the first nine months of 2026, social security works continued to receive timely and effective attention and implementation from authorities and sectors at all levels. The total amount of social security support provided to target groups reached nearly VND 69.3 trillion VND; nearly 35.1 million health insurance (HI) cards, and free medical examination and treatment cards and books were issued to beneficiaries. At the same time, policies supporting people with meritorious services, poor households, near-poor households, and people facing difficulties continued to be implemented, contributing to stabilizing living conditions and ensuring social security.
