According to VSS’ statistics, up to Nov 16th 2021, localities’ social security offices paid support enjoyment from unemployment insurance (UI) to more than 11,778,660 employees (including: nearly 11 million employees are participating UI; 785,000 employees stopped participating UI) with the sum of VND 28,000 billions.

Besides the support policy from UI under Resolution No 116, Decision No 28 of Government and PM, VSS industry is implementing support policies under Resolution 68 and Decision No 23 have achieved a lot of possitive results.

Accordingly, up to Nov 16th 2021, the entire industry has received and processed dossiers for 805 units with 152,068 employees suspend paying pension and suvivor fund premiums with the amount of more than VND 1,065.4 billions in 57 provinces, cities.

Besides, 2,475,153 employees of 64,945 units are confirmed to enjoy policies in 63 provinces, cities, including:

- 1,766,383 employees of 58,508 units suspended working labor, quitted job without salary. 

- 470,841 employees of 4,872 units quitted job to receive support with VND 1 million/ person.

- 3,626 employees of 32 units have been educated, improved, enhanced professional skill to maintain job.

- 75,944 employees of 987 units affected by Covid-19 pandemic stopped working and their employers borrow capital to pay salary.

- Employers of 338 units suggested to borrow capital to pay production restoration fee for 126,157 employees(employers suspend operation).

- Employers of 208 units suggested to borrow capital to pay production restoration fee for 32,202 employees (employers operate in the field of transportation, aviation , travels, accomodation service and export Vietnamese labors under contract).
