Social security key to reduce economic and social impact of coronavirus
In light of the impact of COVID-19, the new coronavirus, on regional and global economic outlooks, the International Social Security Association (ISSA) highlights the key role played by social security in reducing the related social and economic impact. Calling for preparation for an increased need for health care, unemployment and other benefits, the ISSA draws on lessons learnt from past crisis situations.

WHO outlines steps to save 7 million lives from cancer
The World Health Organization (WHO) today spells out the need to step up cancer services in low and middle-income countries. WHO warns that, if current trends continue, the world will see a 60% increase in cancer cases over the next two decades. The greatest increase (an estimated 81%) in new cases will occur in low- and middle-income countries, where survival rates are currently lowest.

On January 06, 2020, in Hanoi, Minister of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung had a meeting with the Senior Delegation of the Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance led by Mrs. Katalin Novak, Vice President of the Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Human resource.
