Kilolo Kijakazi, Acting Commissioner of Social Security, today announced 12 new Compassionate Allowances conditions: Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma, Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm, Gerstmann-Straussler-Scheinker Disease, Microvillus Inclusion Disease – Child, Mowat-Wilson Syndrome, Myelodysplastic Syndrome with Excess Blasts, NUT Carcinoma, Pfeiffer Syndrome - Types II and III, Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia, Posterior Cortical Atrophy, Renal Amyloidosis – AL Type, and Sarcomatoid Mesothelioma.

According to the Plan No 2942/KH-BHXH, on Nov 7th 2022 in Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam Social Security shall organize the honoring ceremony on typical enterprises on implementing social, health and unemployment insurance in the South. It is expected that 103 enterprises of 31 provinces/citites in the South shall be honoured and receive VSS Gerneral director’s certificate of merit.

Vietnam Social Security issued Decision No 3504/QĐ-BHXH on November 21 regarding the pilot process to pay for funeral allowance following inter-connected administrative procedures of death registration, deletion of permanent residence registration and funeral allowance via the national public service portal. The decision was made following the Prime Minister's Decision No 6/QĐ-TTg, dated January 6, 2022.
