Employment opportunities and social security for the disabled
Under ILO, employment from a people-centric perspective (i.e. whether an individual is employed, underemployed or unemployed), rather than focusing on a job as the unit of analysis. The “employed” comprise all persons who worked for pay, profit or family gain for at least one hour in the reference week plus the number of persons who are temporarily absent from their jobs (ILO, 2013a, para. 27 ff.).

Health insurance examination and treatment is promoted

PhilHealth warns the public against heatstroke
The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has cautioned the public amidst the scorching heat in many parts of the country after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) continues to record high temperatures exceeding 41 degrees Celsius. Based from PAGASA’s heat index, temperatures ranging from 33 to 41 degrees Celsius are classified as “extreme caution,” while 42 to 51 degrees Celsius are classified as "danger”.
