Effective online public services to be provided for people in 2021 (Illustrative image)

According to this Decision, the public services will simplify administrative procedures and citizenship papers related to residential management to soon be integrated and provided on the NPSP in 2021, including:

- Issuance, re-issuance, and replacement of citizen's identity cards (to be completed in the second quarter of 2021);

- Confirming the ID number once the citizen's identity card is issued (to be completed in the second quarter of 2021);

- Registered permanent residence; Temporary registration; Declaring temporary absence; Notice of stay (to be completed in the third quarter of 2021);

- Connection of birth registration, permanent residence registration and issuing health insurance cards for children under 6 years old (to be completed in the third quarter of 2021);

- Connection of death registration, deleting registration of permanent residence and allowance for burial fees (to be completed in the third quarter of 2021);

- Issuing ordinary passport; Granting and extending diplomatic passports, official passports (without electronic chips) at domestic agencies (to be completed in the third quarter of 2021);

- Connecting and sharing information and data from the National Database on population to simplify administrative procedures, citizenship papers and increase the service level from level 3 to level 4 for online public services regarding social insurance, justice, diplomacy, finance, education and training, etc.

In addition, also according to this Decision, licensing the construction of individual houses and providing information on construction planning, etc. are also procedures that can be done online in 2021./.
