How is the administrative procedure 'Settling the enjoyment of maternity benefits for employees who have left work before giving birth or adopting a child' carried out?
Based on point 2.2, clause 2, Section III of the Appendix accompanying Decision No. 896/QD-BHXH of the Director-General of Vietnam Social Security, the procedure for implementing this administrative procedure is as follows:
Submitting documents: Employees submit documents to the social security agency in one of the following forms:
o Through electronic transactions: Individuals register to receive an authentication code and submit electronic documents to the Public Service Portal of Vietnam Social Security, the National Public Service Portal, or through I-VAN organization (if registered to use I-VAN service); if the paper documents are not converted to electronic format, send the paper documents to the social insurance agency via postal services.
o Via postal services.
o Directly at the social security agency or Centers for Public Services at all levels.
2. Receiving results:
The beneficiary receives maternity benefits in one of the following forms:
• Through a personal bank account.
• Directly at the social security agency.
In case of authorizing someone else to receive on behalf, follow the regulations in the Public Service "Authorize the receipt of various social insurance benefits" or the original contract of authorization as required by law.
