What is the sequence of steps for implementing the administrative procedure 'Settling the enjoyment of occupational accident and disease benefits for first-time cases'?
Based on point 4.1, clause 4, Section III of the Appendix accompanying Decision No. 896/QD-BHXH of the Director-General of Vietnam Social Security, the sequence of steps for implementing this administrative procedure is as follows:
Step 1. Preparation and submission of documents
a. The employee prepares documents as required and submits them to the employer.
b. The employer receives documents from the employee, prepares a written request for settling occupational accident and disease benefits (Form 05A-HSB), and submits it to the social security agency where the employer contributes; in case the employee requests benefits after retirement, the employer at the location of the employee's occupational accident and disease occurrence initiates the document transfer procedure to the social security agency where the pension is paid, within 30 days from the date of receiving complete documents from the employee.
Step 2. The social security agency receives and processes the documents according to regulations.
Step 3. Receiving the results of settlement
The employer and the employee receive the results of settlement from the social security agency.
