After three years of implementing Government Decree No. 62/2021/NĐ-CP, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) has made significant strides in accelerating digital transformation. This includes the completion of infrastructure and database systems for social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance, with a particular focus on the national insurance database. VSS has successfully integrated, interconnected, and shared information and data with various ministries and sectors, while also streamlining and reforming administrative procedures within their authority. These efforts have effectively met the task requirements assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister.

The Vietnam Social Security (VSS) has consistently taken proactive and coordinated measures with relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to detect, prevent, and penalize violations related to social insurance and health insurance. This includes addressing delays in payment for social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance premiums, as well as preventing the misuse of social insurance and health insurance funds. These efforts are aimed at fostering the growth, security, and long-term viability of the funds to guarantee the full disbursement of social insurance and health insurance benefits for participants.
