More than 5,000 people in the northern province of Yen Bai signed up for voluntary social insurance in 2019, increasing the number of provincial card holders to 7,829.

According to a report by the Vietnam Post Corporation, by the end of November 2019, the unit had developed nearly 260,000 voluntary social insurance participants, equaling 117% of the yearly plan. It is expected that by the end of 2019, the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance through the Post system will reach 280,000 people.
