2. What is the procedure for “Settling one-time health insurance benefits for foreign citizens receiving monthly pensions, health insurance benefits, and no longer residing in Vietnam”?

Based on point 13.2, clause 13, Section III of the Appendix accompanying Decision No. 896/QD-BHXH of the General Director of Vietnam Social Security, the procedure for implementing this administrative procedure is as follows:

Step 1. Document preparation and submission: Pensioners receiving monthly pensions, health insurance benefits (beneficiaries) prepare documents according to regulations (at the Document Composition section) and submit them to the social security agency where the pension, health insurance benefits are being disbursed.

Step 2. The social security agency receives and processes the documents according to regulations.

Step 3. Receiving the result: The beneficiary receives the result of the settlement from the social security agency.

3. What are the deadlines and results for “Settling the transfer of benefits to another locality for individuals receiving monthly pensions, health insurance benefits, and individuals waiting for monthly pensions”?

Based on point 11.1, clause 11, Section III of the Appendix accompanying Decision No. 896/QD-BHXH of the General Director of Vietnam Social Security:

• Deadline: “Settling the transfer of benefits to another locality for individuals receiving monthly pensions, health insurance benefits, and individuals waiting for monthly pensions” is carried out immediately upon receiving the documents.
• Results of “Settling the transfer of benefits to another locality for individuals receiving monthly pensions, health insurance benefits, and individuals waiting for monthly pensions” are manifested through:

+ Notice of payment of pensions, health insurance benefits (Form 23-HSB)

+ Notice of receiving documents for waiting for monthly pensions/benefits (Form 15B-HSB).
