Regulation on registering primary examination and treatment with health insurance be strictly implemented
Viet Nam Social Security (VSS) has sent Offical Letter No 3637/BHXH-CSYT to Social Security offices of provinces/municipalities, social security of Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Public Security (reffered to as provincial social security) on registrating primary health insurance (HI) examination and treatment.

Pilot process in paying for funeral allowance following inter-connected administrative procedures
Vietnam Social Security issued Decision No 3504/QĐ-BHXH on November 21 regarding the pilot process to pay for funeral allowance following inter-connected administrative procedures of death registration, deletion of permanent residence registration and funeral allowance via the national public service portal. The decision was made following the Prime Minister's Decision No 6/QĐ-TTg, dated January 6, 2022.

Health insurance fund plays key role in ensuring finance for HIV/AIDS prevention and control in Vietnam
The Ministry of Health organised a conference reviewing 10 years of implementing the master plan to ensure finance for HIV/AIDS prevention and control activities in Vietnam to evaluate and acknowledge achievements gained during the period. It is also aimed at mobilising the Government, ministries, sectors and localities to continue investment in HIV/AIDS prevention and control and discuss measures to ensure finance to put an end to the AIDS epidemic by 2030.
