Since VSS announced VssID - Digital Social Insurance application (in November 2020), up to now, 53 out of 63 provincial social insurance agencies have consulted with the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents directing the implementation of account registration and installation of the VssID application for local employees.

In addition, a number of provincial social insurance agencies have coordinated with state management units in the province (Department of Information and Communications, Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, Management Board of Industrial Parks, Provincial Post Office) to issue documents to deploy VssID among units under management such as Nghe An, Phu Tho, An Giang.

63 social insurance agencies of provinces and cities have also issued a plan to guide, install and use the VssID application and assign targets for each target group to the professional departments and social insurance agencies of the affiliated districts and towns.

Some provinces also established VssID Implementation Steering Committee and VssID deployment, support and consulting teams such as: Hanoi, Thua Thien Hue, Vinh Phuc, Thai Binh, Bac Lieu, Yen Bai, Bac Giang , Dak Lak, Thanh Hoa. Some provincial social insurance agencies have launched emulation movements to speed up the implementation of VssID installation such as: Nam Dinh, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Dong Nai, Thanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Hau Giang.

With those solutions, as of May 9, 2021, there were 5,304,111 registrations of transaction records nationwide, of which 4.806,146 valid documents were approved. (497,965 applications registered but not yet valid or waiting for approval account for 9.4% of registered applications).

In which, 10 provinces and cities with the highest percentage of approved applications compared to the total assigned targets are: Lai Chau, Ha Giang, Bac Kan, Son La, Quang Binh, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Lao Cai.
