This is the first conference on the policy implementation dialogue between VSS and enterprises from countries and territories with investment capital in Vietnam.

The conference will be held in the area with high FDI capital compared to the national average, of which Korea is one of the leading countries in foreign investment in Vietnam. This is also a group of businesses that are investing in a labor-intensive industry (supporting industries, machinery manufacturing, equipment, electronic components, textiles, footwear) in the context of the Senior Leaders of Vietnam and South Korea showing concern and committed to facilitate trade and investment relations between the two countries as well as ensure social security for workers.

The Dialogue Conference aims to provide information, exchange and answer problems of FDI enterprises in the implementation of Decree No. 143/2018/ND-CP dated October 15, 2018 elaborating on participation in compulsory social insurance for employees who are foreign nationals working in Vietnam; to update the situation of social security cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea as well as the plan to sign and implement the Agreement and the Bilateral Agreement on the implementation of social insurance between the two countries; also to announce the Korean version of the Digital Social Insurance application - VssID, an important step towards Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP dated January 1, 2021 regarding ongoing implementation of major duties and measures to improve business environment and enhance national competitiveness in 2021.

The Dialogue Conference with Korean businesses is expected to be attended by leaders of VSS, leaders of Dong Nai People's Committee, representatives of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, representatives of the National Assembly's Social Affairs Committee, Director of International Labor Organization (ILO) in Vietnam, representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and representatives of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), etc./.
