General Director of Vietnam Social Security Nguyen The Manh's meeting with the Ha Tinh Social Security Office

At the meeting, Director of Ha Tinh Social Security Office Hoang Van Minh briefly reported on the implementation of policies on social insurance and health insurance in the area over the past time. Accordingly, thanks to the attention and direction of the Vietnam Social Security (VSS), the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, along with the efforts of the collectives of civil servants, officials and employees of the provincial agency, the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in Ha Tinh Province has overcome difficulties caused by epidemics and floods to complete and exceed the assigned targets and plans.

As of December 31, 2020, Ha Tinh province had 84,617 participants in compulsory social insurance, 28,197 participants in voluntary social insurance (an increase of 16,057 compared to 2019); the number of participants in health insurance is over 1.1 million, reaching 90% of the population. The collection of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance premiums reached 2,684 billion dong, equaling 101% of the assigned plan.

The provincial social security office has temporarily suspended the contributions of social insurance premiums for 100 units with 2,959 employees affected by the COVID-19 epidemic; provided medical examination and treatment covered by health insurance for over 1.6 million turns with the amount of 1,030 billion VND; coordinated monthly pension payments and social insurance benefits for more than 71,000 people with the total amount of 3,715 billion VND; actively propagated and mobilized monthly pensioners and social insurance benefeciaries to receive money via ATM, etc.

General Director Nguyen The Manh at the meeting acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Ha Tinh Social Security Office has achieved in recent years; in which, he highly appreciated the advisory work with the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee on the implementation of policies on social insurance and health insurance in the area and the development of subjects participating in voluntary social insurance.

In the coming time, the General Director suggested the provincial social security office should continue to follow the direction of the Industry; strengthen coordination with committees, authorities, departments, and branches in implementing their tasks; promote the application of information technology, in which attention should be paid to the effective implementation of the applications of digital social insurance - VssID; promote communication, administrative reform and strengthen administrative discipline among public servants to better and better serve the people, towards the satisfaction of people and businesses.

On behalf of the entire public servants of Ha Tinh Social Security Office, Mr. Hoang Van Minh has come to terms with the direction of the General Director; At the same time, he wishes to continue to receive the leadership and direction of the Leaders of the Industry and Departments and Committees under the VSS in performing professional tasks.
