Handing out social insurance books to the participants of voluntary social insurance in Hau Giang Province

The letter clearly stated that, over the past time, the collection agency system and the post offices of provinces and cities have coordinated with the provincial social insurance agency to implement propaganda solutions, therefore, the number of participants of voluntary social and health insurance increased higher compared to 2019. As for voluntary social insurance alone, by the end of October 2020, it got 891.5 thousand participants, of which, only about 286 thousand people were developed by the post office.

Some localities have met and exceeded the participant development targets assigned by VSS, however, the development of participants in voluntary social insurance has not yet achieved high efficiency in a number of localities.

Therefore, for the rest of 2020, VSS requests VNPost to direct the Provincial Post Office to actively coordinate with the provincial social insurance agency to drastically implement solutions to maintain and sustainably develop participants of voluntary social insurance; ensure the completion and exceed new development targets for voluntary social insurance participants in 2020 with the VSS’s consent - strive to increase new participants of 400 thousand./.
