VSS: Gratitude towards the wounded and sick soliders at the Center for Nursing Meritorious People in Phu Tho Province

On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2020), in the morning of July 26, the delegation of Vietnam Social Security (VSS) led by General Director Nguyen The Manh visited and present gifts to wounded and sick soldiers at the Center for Nursing Meritorious People in Phu Tho Province.

On behalf of the leaders and delegations of VSS, General Director Nguyen The Manh graciously inquired about the health and lives of the wounded and sick soldiers. At the same time, he expressed deep gratitude to whom have devoted their springs and sacrificed their lives to the nation’s independence and unification.
Mr. Nguyen The Manh affirmed that, as a generation living, working and inheriting the peace, independence and freedom of the country today, we would forever remember and be grateful to the heroes, martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers and families with meritorious services to the country, which is the responsibility, the affection and also the practice of the morality saying “When eating a fruit, think of the man who planted the tree.”
By the visit, Mr. Nguyen The Manh also hopes that the wounded and sick soldiers continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, live happily and overcome all difficulties and hardships as a good example of Uncle Ho’s Soldiers, which would motivate the other generations to follow.

Mr. Manh informed that, being the agency assigned by the Party and the State to implement the social security policy of the country, over the past time, VSS together with all branches of the country has always been important paying attention and has made practical contributions to the material and spiritual life of war invalids, sick soldiers, policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution, such as: Taking care of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother; Providing financial support for building and repairing static houses; Giving gifts and creating jobs for policy beneficiary families and contributing to the work of gratitude.
On behalf of the soldiers at the Center, Mr. Vu Dinh Tien expressed his joy and thanked for the attention and visit by VSS. Mr. Tien said that the visit acts as great encouragement and sharing, which is the motivation for the wounded and sick soldiers of the Center to promote the tradition of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" and the spirit of "Wounded but not disabled" to continue making contributions to the development of the country, homeland, and families.

Sharing with the delegation, Mr. Pham Quang Nha - the Center for Nursing Meritorious People was touched by the kindness of the VSS towards the wounded and sick soldiers at the Center, at the same time, he said the Center is now directly nourishing, treating and nursing 30 seriously wounded and sick soldiers with the incapacity of working from 81% or more.
Besides, annually, the Center also welcomes and alternately serves about 3,000 people with meritorious services to the revolution. In recent years, the Center for Nursing Meritorious People in Phu Tho has always encouraged the officials and employees to strive to build a collective of solidarity and cohesion to fulfill their duties with a sense of responsibility and affection as well as the gratitude towards the sacrificial contributions of the martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of national independence and freedom.
With the responsibility, affection and gratitude, the officials and employees in the unit always consider the seriously wounded and sick soldiers in the Center as their relatives. Also, the soldiers see them as their offspring. Therefore, the Center can be regarded as a big family, which is the motivation for the unit to complete the assigned tasks.
