Following Official Dispatch No. 972/BHXH-TCKT of March 25, 2020 of Vietnam Social Security on the monthly payment of pensions and allowances of social insurance and unemployment insurance via the Postal System during the period of COVID-19 prevention and control, Vietnam Social Security has just supplemented the guidance on payment of pensions and social insurance and unemployment insurance allowances in April and May 2020.

Accordingly, the payment of pensions and social insurance allowances in April and May 2020 will be implemented in the same period. The Post Office shall work out a plan on the payment for the beneficiaries in cash that ensures safety and not to gather crowds in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister.

Assign social security agencies of provinces and cities to take charge and make agreements with the provincial Post Office on the payment time; report to the provincial People's Committee on the plan and payment time that suits the actual situation of the locality. It must be completed before May 31, 2020.

In the course of implementation, if any difficulties or problems arise, the paying units shall promptly report to Vietnam Social Security for guidance and settlement.
