Social Insurance of Quang Tri province receives the Government's Emulation Flag

In the first 9 months of 2019, Quang Tri province had 600,733 people participating in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance, which is an increase of 20,449 people over the same period in 2018, reaching 101.2% of the assigned plan. Health insurance coverage reached 94.3% of the population, exceeding 6.3% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister. The provincial social insurance body has settled 19,872 times of social insurance beneficiaries with the payment of nearly VND 164 billion, an increase of 1.8% compared to the same period in 2018; has assessed and paid the health insurance regime, ensuring benefits for 880 thousand times of medical examination and treatment with the cost of over VND 360 billion.

Through good performance of inspection and examination, it has contributed to destroying, preventing and promptly handling violations, raising the employers' compliance with the law on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance for employers, employees and medical facilities with health insurance in the area, ensuring benefits for participants of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance.

Promoting the achieved results, at the Conference, representatives of the provincial social insurance leaders launched the movement to develop participants in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance for the period of 2019-2020 in the area.

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Nam Province praised the achievements of the provincial social insurance in recent years. At the same time, it is recommended that Departments, Boards, branches, mass organizations and unions continue to pay attention and closely coordinate with the provincial social insurance body in propagating the regimes and policies of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance; continue to strengthen inspection and examination work; strictly handle violations of the law on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance, ensuring benefits for employees.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Nam province requested that the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities should further promote the direction and organization of the implementation of social insurance and health insurance policies in their localities; set up a Steering Committee for developing social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance participants at district level and implemented many synchronous solutions to increase the participation rate of social insurance and health insurance.

On this occasion, under the authorization of the Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Nam Province presented the Government's Emulation Flag to the social insurance authority of Quang Tri province for successfully completing all tasks and leading the national patriotic emulation movement in 2018./.
