At the meeting, the Chief of Office of VSS briefly reported on the implementation of the whole industry’s tasks during the Lunar New Year. Accordingly, VSS has focused on directing local Social Security offices to effectively implement the social and health insurance policies, ensuring the rights of the workers and people; make payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for both January and February in 2025; successfully carry out the "No one left behind program" with over 141,000 health insurance cards, nearly 12,000 social insurance books and 3,600 gifts given; promptly resolve arising tasks, ensure the rights of social and health insurance participants, especially health insurance medical examination and treatment…

Speaking at the meeting, General Director Nguyen The Manh sent New Year greetings to all cadres, civil servants in the whole Industry; at the same time, emphasizing that, on the basis of the tradition and foundation of the results achieved by the whole Industry in 2024, in 2025, the whole Industry shall continue to unite, strive, innovate and be creative to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party and the State.

VSS General Director Nguyen The Manh requested that units and local social security offices closely follow the Plan and key tasks issued by VSS before Tet; urgently and resolutely deploy tasks right from the first days of the year, with a new spirit and momentum.

Assessing that the 2025 tasks of the entire industry are very heavy, requiring the entire industry to make greater efforts, strength and intelligence, the General Director believes that all officers and employees of VSS shall continue to promote tradition, solidarity, and strive to achieve outstanding results, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the foundation of VSS (February 16th, 1995 - February 16th, 2025)./.
