In Quang Trị, Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Security Office Dao Cong Tuan stated: This year's Month of Campaign and implementation of Universal Social Insurance focuses on communicating the role, benefits, and humanitarian aspects of voluntary social insurance; the significance and value of receiving a monthly pension and free health insurance cards throughout the pension period; and the disadvantages of choosing a lump-sum social insurance premiums payment and leaving the social security network.

In addition, the communication aims to spread the positive results of implementing social insurance policies; the active involvement of local party committees and authorities in leading and directing the implementation of social and health insurance policies; and the significance of local budget support for individuals participating voluntary social insurance.

Social insurance and health insurance policies are promoted to the public in Quảng Trị Province

In Gio Linh District, the district Social Security office, in collaboration with the district Post Office and the Gio Linh Town People’s Committee, organized a dialogue and communication conference on voluntary social and health insurance policies for local neighborhood leaders and heads of associations such as the Farmers' Association, Women's Union, and Youth Union. This aimed to enhance the role of the Social Insurance Policy Implementation Steering Committee at the commune level and various organizations and associations in promoting and encouraging local residents and members to participate in voluntary social insurance and health insurance.

Previously, in response to the Month of Campaign and Implementation of Universal Social Insurance, Quang Tri Provincial Social Security and social insurance offices in districts and towns organized visual communication activities through banners billboards, and posters along main streets and at the offices of People’s Committees of communes, wards, and towns throughout the province. According to the plan, during this Campaign, Quang Tri Provincial Social Security Office and the Provincial Post Office aim to achieve approximately 3,000 new registrations and renewals for voluntary social insurance and health insurance.

Promoting policies in Yen Bai

Also on the morning of May 15th, Yen Bai Provincial Social Security Office and local collection service organizations coordinated to hold a launch ceremony in support of the Month of Campaign and Implementation of Universal Social Insurance, with the theme “Social Insurance - Peace of Mind for Every Family.” At the launch ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Deputy Director of Yen Bai Social Security Office, provided information on the key points of social insurance and health insurance policies, especially the significance and humanitarian aspects of voluntary social insurance and family health insurance.

At the launch ceremony, the leadership of the Yên Bái Provincial Social Security Office set specific targets for various units. Specifically, in Minh Bao Commune, the goal is to encourage 75 people to participate in voluntary social insurance and 150 people to join family health insurance, contributing to the target for Yên Bái City to have approximately 34,000 people enrolled in social insurance (including over 6,800 in voluntary social insurance) and about 103,500 people covered by health insurance, achieving a coverage rate of 95% of the population as planned by the City People's Committee..

Launch Ceremony in Bến Tre

In Ben Tre, the launch ceremony was also held on the morning of May 15, with participation from the provincial social security staff, the provincial post office, and Viettel Post in Bến Tre. At the ceremony, Mr. Duong Van Thang, Director of the Ben Tre Provincial Social Security Office, emphasized the significance of social insurance and health insurance policies and urged the units to make every effort and be determined to achieve the targets set for this campaign.

According to the Bến Tre Provincial Social Security Office, specific targets have been assigned to each collection service organization. The goal is that 950 people participating voluntary social insurance and 1,800 people participating family health insurance on the launch day. For the month of May, the target is to enroll 1,800 people in voluntary social insurance and 30,000 people in family health insurance./.
