The Vietnam Social Security Fanpage verified by Facebook has attracted over 46,000 followers

The verified badge or blue checkmark badge is a symbol of official verification showing other users the authentic presence of an organisation, business, or famous figure on Facebook. Being granted the badge confirms that the Fanpage is the official and only page of the owner, and it also enjoys many advantages in terms of features and visibility on Facebook.

Over the past time, in order to enhance the effectiveness of the dissemination of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies on social networks, the Information and Communication Center has actively worked with the Ministry of Information and Communications’ Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information to support Central-level provincial and municipal Social Security Offices to set up Fanpages and ask Facebook to grant blue checkmark to the fanpages.

So far, the fanpages of Social Security Offices in 53 Central-level provinces and cities have been granted with the blue verification badge, bringing numerous benefits for both social security offices and social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance participants.

The verified badges help affirm the credibility of the Vietnam social security industry’s Fanpages, distinguishing them from fake pages, and help gain people’s trust on the information shared on these pages.

Additionally, it also helps increase the effectiveness of the communication of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies. With the blue checkmarks, the Fanpage of the Vietnam Social Security and those of provincial and municipal Social Security Offices will be prioritised for appearance on Facebook, enabling them to approach more users.

Concurrently, social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance participants will find it easier to get access to updated information on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance as well as other policies, participation procedures and modes, contribution levels and benefits, and so on via official Fanpages.

Besides that, participants in the social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance can directly interact with the social insurance offices through messages and comments on the Fanpages to have their questions solved and receive assistance in resolving issues related to social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance.
