VSS's Deputy Generral Director Lieu  receives recognition award on digital transformation at ASSA 40 Conference

In recent time, VSS has promoted restructuring of business processes, reviewed, reduced and simplified administrative procedures; promoted IT application, implemented electronic transactions, integrated and provided online public services on the National Public Service Portal to facilitate and save time, efforts and costs in carrying out administrative procedures for businesses, organizations and the people. This is an important, groundbreaking task to carry out digital transformation, create many utilities and services, bring practical benefits, serve better and more effectively people and businesses.

VSS’ digitalization deployment for all administrative procedure resolution results, along with connecting, interoperating, sharing data, and providing online public services is an important premise for administrative procedure reform; Implementing digital transformation, improving VSS’ capacity, management efficiency and service quality; Reducing time and costs for organizations and individuals during the process of making transactions with the social secutiry offices, contributing to building the success of a digital Government.

Overview of the conference  (VSS)

On Nov 21^st, the conference also reviewed and approved the ASSA 40 Conference Agenda, reviewed the 2022-2023 Action Plan; Approving the Minutes of the 40th ASSA Conference. Along with that, the transfer of the new ASSA Chairmanship was implemented, including the transfer of the position of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary General of ASSA; Transfer the ASSA Logo and documents to the Chairman and Secretary General for the 2023-2024 term.

 Also at the ASSA 40 Executive Committee and Secretariat meetings, member organizations discussed a number of issues and proposed plans to organize the ASSA 41 Conference. As an active and proactive member of the association, Vietnam Social Security proposed proposals to continue promoting and strengthening activities among member organizations, including initiatives to promote bilateral cooperation within the framework of the Association; improve the efficiency of ASSA website; building a network of ASEAN regional experts; Develop and publish the annual ASSA Outlook publication.

 The ASSA 40 Conference concluded successfully, providing an opportunity for VSS to promote propaganda of the achievements on VSS’ implementation of social security policies, strengthen foreign propaganda, and contribute to building and promoting image, enhancing the position of VSS in the region.
