ASSA 38 was held online in 2021

Especially, on the occasion of 60 year- Viet Nam- Laos relationship establishment and 45 year signing Viet Nam – Laos friendship and cooperation agreement, on the occasion of attending ASSA 39 in Laos, VSS shall work bilaterally with Laos Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MOLSF), Lao PRD’s National Social Protection to summarize, evaluate the result on cooperation activity 2016-2020 and sign Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding in the period of 2022-2025 with MOLSF, contributing to consolidate, strengthen traditional friendly relationship, special union and all-sided cooperation of Viet – Laos according to the spirit of direction of the Party and Government in the year of “Viet Nam – Laos Unision, Friendship 2022”.

At the ASSA 39, VSS attended as an ASSA’s active and responsible  member, reporting the results on implementing assigned duties at ASSA Action Plan, attending to discuss, share pratical effective experiences (ASSA Good Practice) from member countries. Especially, VSS shall receive the ASSA Award on “Solution on Vietnam’s policy on supporting employees and employers afected by Covid-19 pandemic from unemployment insurance fund”.
