Regarding the implementation process, employers can submit requests to get house rental support for workers online or in-person or using postal services.   

The ministry asks the Vietnam Social Security (VSS) to guide employers to submit the dossiers to social insurance agencies to get verification about their employees’ participation in compulsory social insurance and receive verification results via different methods, including online.

Later, the employers will submit requests for support to the district-level People’s Committees for appraisal. The committees will make appraisals based on the lists of eligible workers in need of support and verification from VSS. They will then forward the requests to the provincial-level People’s Committees for issuing decisions on approval of the list of recipients and the amount of money given as support.

Earlier, at a press conference in late March about Decision No 08 to support house rental for workers to help soon recover the labour market, a representative from VSS said online services, with the application of information technology, will help to shorten the time in confirming compulsory social insurance participation for labourers./.
