With the aim of consolidating, enhancing capacity of school health system in preschool and general education institutions in order to improve qualification, effectiveness, operation efficiency, ensure healthcare condition for preschool children, students on the period of 2021-2025. Government set the goal: 100% of local government check, rearrange school health system suitable with the local practical condition; 100% of education facilities have health staff in charge of school health or have service contract with local health facility; 100% of district medical centers, commune medical stations  assign cadres in charge of school health … and 95% of education facilities satisfy with minimum school health condition such as rooms, beds, equipments, first aid equipments, essential drugs and expenditure source deducted from HI fund for student primary care.

To implement the above goals, the Government requires to finalize document, policy system on school health associated with health facilities (including: standard of regime, policy for school health workers, periodly health check for students, health insurance, operation expenditure, essential equiments…); check, arrange school health workers; enhance effectiveness of interbranch coordination effectiveness on school health attached with health facilities; strengthen education, cultivation, improve professional capacity to school health workers; enhance material and health facilities and mobilize school health socialization (in which non-state health facilities are encouraged to participate in primary care for students at schools, mobilize individual, organization, enterprise investment in school health, concentrating on school nutrition, pure water, WC, digital transformation on school health).
