At the ceremony, Deputy General Director Dao Viet Anh said that besides economic and trade development, the social security assurance of the two countries has also been improved. The VSS is one of the units that implements memos and signs agreements with many relevant Korean agencies to implement social security policies, including social and health insurance. In particular, in 2021, the Korean Embassy and VSS have well cooperated, especially in promoting the successful signing of the Agreement on Social Insurance between Vietnam and Korea.

On behalf of VSS Leaders, Deputy General Director Dao Viet Anh sent his sincere and deepest gratitude to Mr. Lee Jae Guk and the Korean Embassy for their contributions to the development of Vietnam's social insurance industry. With that spirit, Anh expected that in the coming time, the already well-conducted cooperation relationship between the two sides will continue to have great milestones, and the Korean Embassy in Vietnam will continue to accompany the VSS to achieve great achievements in ensuring social security for Vietnamese people.

On this occasion, the representative of VSS also proposed that the Korean Embassy continue to act as a bridge between the Vietnamese social insurance industry and Korean enterprises; supporting propaganda and dissemination of social and health insurance policies as well as the implementation of the Agreement on social insurance between Vietnam and Korea; encourage Korean employees to use the utilities of the Korean version of VssID application; contribute ideas to upgrade and perfect the application; connect the VSS with the Korea National Pension Service (NPS) to sign and implement the Agreement on Implementation of the Agreement on Social Insurance within the framework of activities and events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Vietnam – RoK diplomatic ties.

He also affirmed that efforts will be made to contribute to the cooperation of the two sides as well as put the Agreement into practice
