Therefore, with the function “Forget password” on VssID app and VSS’ public service, besides sending message “BH MK Mã số BHXH” to the prefix 8079 to reset password (user pays VND 1,000/message to mobile network), from Nov 10^th 2021, VSS shall provide the function on freely resetting password via users’ email as follows:

Firstly, on VssID app

Step 1: Open VssID app, insert SS code in “SS code”. Select “forget password”.

Step 2: Insert the registered email address to receive OPT code.

Step 3: Insert OTP (code sent through email). Password is sent to registered email.

Secondly, on VSS’ Public Service Portal

Step 1: To implement the function “Forget password”, user accesses VSS’ public portal via the link: https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn.

Step 2: On home page’s screen, selecting “Log in” to display the login screen.

Step 3: Select “Forget password”

Step 4: Insert social SI code and email address registered to SS agencies, insert Capcha code. Select “Get password”, the system shall send OPT to email.

Step 5: “Insert OTP” to confirm information. The system shall send account information and password to registered email address.

For the past time, VSS has adjusted, supplemented to synchronize the industry’s applications to meet the need of resetting password freely via email. Besides, because of waiting for confirmation from Appstore and Google Play to put VssID on app stores, until now VSS officially publish the deployment of  confirming and sending password via email service. At the same time, VSS also researches integration and early deploys confirmation forms according to new technology such as smartOTP, confirmation without password…

In case the personal registering electronic transaction without email information could supplement personal email to receive notification, OTP code in implementing transactions with SS agencies in the function “Account information” on VSS’ Public Service Portal.
