The plan also strengthens, affirms prestige, role, position and image of VSS industry as a friend, trustful and accountable partner of the regional and international social security community; mobilizes and maximizes sources and convenient condition of international integration to contribute to build a stable, effective, modern social security system in Vietnam and develop the industry; positively contributes to Vietnam’s external work and external information, speeding up international integration comprehensively, widely, deeply and flexibly.   The plan sets requirements of following closely the goal to contribute to implementing the action plan of five-year socio-economic development (2021-2025) of VSS industry; unifies management and direction on external information work in the entire industry, from the central to the local; renews content, method and way of implementation; enhances awareness about the importance of external information work in the new situation; co-ordinates and implements external information work effectively in accordance with the real situation and specific unit, locality; enhances qualification and brings into play the role of external information cadre in advising and deploying external information work.   In order to achieve targets and meet the requirements of external information work in the coming period, the Plan also introduces three information groups and 5 action groups creaing basis for building missions, measures in the annual external information plan. At the same time, VSS builds the missions, specific measures and assigns detailedly units, Social Security Offices of provinces, municipalities and each cadres in charge of the VSS industry’s external information. Department of International Cooperation is in charge of deploying the VSS industry’s external information activities; building the annual plan of external information, period and external information plan under the industry’s special subject; guiding, inspecting and asessing external information activities of provincial social security offices; preliminarily wrapping up, summing up and reporting external information work under regulation.
