Accordingly, in order to ensure adequate, timely and safe payment of pension and social and unemployment insurance benefits, VSS requests social security agencies of provinces and centrally-run cities; The Vietnam Post Corporation shall pay pensions and social insurance benefits in September and October 2021 in the same payment period.

In addition, the social security agencies of the provinces and centrally-run cities shall coordinate with the provincial Post Offices, based on the epidemic situation of each locality, to develop a plan to pay the beneficiaries in cash, ensuring safety to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with the objectives and direction of the Prime Minister (PM). To report and request the Provincial People's Committee and the local Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to recommend beneficiaries to register to receive the pay via personal accounts to limit travel, contact and receive timely payment. At the same time, to combine with promoting solutions to encourage beneficiaries to receive social and unemployment benefits through personal accounts; to actively propagate about the superiority of receiving the regime through personal accounts in the current period.

The VSS also suggested that the Vietnam Post Corporation, the social security aencies of provinces and centrally run cities continue to implement the instructions in Sections 2 and 3 of Official Letter No. 1135/BHXH-TCKT dated April 29, 2021 of the VSS on the payment of monthly pensions, social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits during the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control period.

Over the past time, the Vietnam's social insurance industry has implemented numerous solutions and innovations in pension payment; social and unemployment insurance allowances to create favorable conditions for beneficiaries; at the same time, contributed to the implementation of Resolution 86/NQ-CP dated August 6, 2021 of the Government on urgent solutions to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic and Official Dispatch No. 1102/CD-TTg dated August 23, 2021 of the PM on strengthening measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic nationwide, said that "The epidemic can break out anytime and anywhere" and "Ensuring social security is a key task"./.
