Hanoi - Vietnam Social Security (VSS) and the Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service (KCOMWEL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation for the 2026–2030 period last week. The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has issued Decision No. 3795/QĐ-BTC dated 11 November 2025 to implement Government Resolution No. 282/NQ-CP, which sets out the Action Program for executing Politburo Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW regarding breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care, and improvement of public health. The Decision clearly defines key tasks and assigns responsibilities to relevant units under the MOF.

In November 2025, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) held a seminar on “Criteria, Conditions for Selection, Expenditure Level, and Service Contract for Authorized Benefits Payment”. This is an important event in the ongoing efforts to reform SI and UI payment services with the aim of improving service quality for participants.
