In recent years, Viet Nam has well implemented policies towards people with merits, social welfare, job creation and sustainable poverty reduction; the proportion of people joining social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance has increased rapidly; and the proportion of poor households is forecast to fall.

In response to the Month of Campaign and implementation of Universal social insurance, on May 15th, social security offices in provinces such as Quang Tri, Yen Bai, and Ben Tre organized launch ceremonies to support the campaign and implementation of Universal social insurance, focused on raising awareness and encouraging people to participate in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance.
