The Supreme People’s Court on August 16, 2019 in Ha Noi announced Resolution No 05/2019/NQ-HĐTP dated August 15, 2019 by the Supreme People’s Court’s Council of Judges guiding the implementation of Article 214 on social insurance and unemployment insurance fraud, Article 215 on health insurance fraud and Article 216 on evading payment of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance for workers under the Criminal Code.

The Viet Nam Social Security (VSS) reported that the social security sector achieved positive results between October 2017 and June 2019 in following legal enforcement of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance.
