Speaking at the conference, Deputy PM Tran Hong Ha stressed that the annual press conference is also an important mechanism for press agencies to accompany the revolutionary cause of the Party and State through the orientations given at the event.

According to the Deputy PM, 2023 is a very important year when the National Assembly and the Government have a common task of formulating the Law on Land (amended), a key legal event of the NA and an important political task of the Party and State.

The Deputy PM asked the press agencies to collect people's opinions on the law project and respond effectively and accurately to them so that the law can meet people's expectations, becoming a foundation for socio-economic development and socialist-oriented market economy.

At the conference, Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh said over the past 72-year history of development, Nhan Dan Newspaper has achieved many outstanding results.

The newspaper will continue to further improve all forms of publications. Accordingly, Nhan Dan Newspaper will open 6 more specialised pages of printed newspapers covering 6 major socio-economic regions of the country, while developing similar content on television and online.
