The investment was announced in the UK on Tuesday morning during Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s working session with AstraZeneca Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Pascal Soriot.
In May 2019, the firm announced its five-year plan to invest US$220 million in the Southeast Asian country between 2020 and 2024.
The investment plan accelerates AstraZeneca’s existing efforts to expand access to healthcare and to improve the quality of healthcare delivery for Vietnamese patients./.
