On October 09th, 2019, in Hanoi, Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) in cooperation with UN Women held the Consulting Workshop on gender equality in the draft labour code (revided) and development of its implementation Decree. Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha attended and chaired the workshop. Attending the workshop were representatives of ministries, sectors, collectives, non-government organizations, department of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, Industrial Zone’s manager boards in some localities and enterprises.

Vietnam Social Security has just issued Decision 1270/QD-BHXH dated September 30, 2019 amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation on management and issuance of social insurance codes for participants of social insurance and health insurance issued together with the Decision. No. 346/QD-BHXH dated 28/3/2019 of the General Director of Vietnam Social Security.
