Notice: Lookup messages to phone number 8079 are suspended

The IT Center (Vietnam Social Security) has just sent an official dispatch to the social security agencies of provinces and cities about suspending the deployment of lookup messages to the number 8079.

Accordingly, following the direction of the leaders of the VSS industry, the IT Center stopped deploying the lookup message to phone number 8079, regarding: Looking up the time of participating in social insurance; Looking up the expiry date of the health insurance card; Looking up submitted documents, file status and passwords.

The IT Center requested the social security agencies of the provinces and cities to make announcements within their management areas about the suspension of this messaging service so that a large number of people and employees are aware.

At the same time, local social security agencies shall promote propaganda and guide people to choose and use free and available information channels provided by the VSS to look up and replace. Specifically:

Look up the time of participation in social insurance, Look up the expiry date of the health insurance card via: VssID - Digital Social Insurance application or the online lookup function on the VSS portal (https:// baohiemxahoi.gov.vn).

Look up submitted documents and their status via: Lookup function on the VSS Public Service Portal (https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn).

Re-issue the password of the electronic social insurance transaction account via: Forgot Password function on VssID Application or VSS Public Service Portal (the password will be provided via the email address that people declare when signing up an electronic social insurance transaction account).

For the case when registering an account without having information about email addresses, people can be supported through the following channels: Make a TK1-TS declaration to declare additional information about email information through electronic social insurance transactions of the unit or the collection agent is managing; Make a declaration of change or addition of registration information using the electronic transaction method in the field of social insurance according to Form No. 02/SD-GD and submit it directly to the nearest social security agency; Directly contact the Customer Service Center for assistance in re-granting the password of the electronic social insurance transaction account.
